So many things I want to do..so little time I have..

Tuesday, September 30, 2008

Recently, I have so many things I *want* to do. It's not that I *need* it. I just want it. Maybe it's because I feel that my life becomes 'regular' these days. I do the same thing everyday, every week, every month. I'm starting to think about courses I could take after work, even though I know that I would feel very tired afterwards. I researched about part-time grad school, french language class, pastry class and some more computer related class. I still don't know which one I would want to do. Most of the time, as the time passes by, I will just forget about these things. I know this is only a temporary thing, but there's currently a strong urge that pushes me to do at least something. I'll have to figure out what. Until then, I'll be living in my regular days.

Last weekend, I went to Napa Valley and Sausalito with RV, angel and willie. I'm so in love with V Sattui wines! I bought the Muscat 2006 and RV bought the Rose 2007. We haven't opened it yet, but we will..soon..

Anyways, here's some pic: here and here

Long mixed up post

Friday, August 8, 2008

It's been a while since the last time I updated my blog. Things have been busy ever since I start working (i.e. less time to do stuffs during weekdays). Let me summarize some of the things I've done last month: foods, foods, and foods. Haha..O well, no wonder why I get fat even faster here :( *sob*
Anyways, I went to a SCRUM training about two weeks ago. If you haven't heard about it, SCRUM is a project development method that my company is trying to use. One thing I can tell you about it is that the lecture is soooo boring. It's probably because we are not familiar with the method and the lecturer assumes that we know all about it. It's a 8-5 training complete with breakfast, lunch and afternoon snacks :D The only good thing about this training is, of course, the FOODS. I didn't expect the food will be this good, because, well, it's a training, so the food is usually just an OK food. I started my lunch with Salmon with some lemon sauce and ended it with a fruit tart. The fruit tart is very good. I saved it for my afternoon snacks and a lot of people were eyeing on my dessert! Here it is...

Move on to another topic. I went to eat Queen House with my friends last week. And of course we were getting dessert after dinner. We went to our favorite Gelato place in Castro. We were having a hard time deciding which flavors we wanted as we wanted, well, EVERYTHING! =P I ended up sharing 3 flavors (forgot which three) with RV. Here's us at while eating ice cream..

Next trip, we are taking a french dessert: crepes! We went to Ti Couz last weekend with Albert and his girlfriend. His gf was going back to Indo and transiting in SFO, so we picked her up and off we went to Ti Couz. Ti Couz is actually the most expensive crepes place ever! A crepe will cost you around $12-15 including all the tax and tips. But the place is always packed with people. That sure tells you how good the crepes is. I shared a white choco-nutella-banilla bean ice cream crepe with RV which cost us ~$15, more expensive than our dinner at Ikea. Haha..Albert had the interesting flaming crepe with Rum and vanilla ice cream. There should be some flames in Albert's crepe but it did not show up when I took the picture.
Next two places were farewell places :( One of my friends is going back to Indo for good, so we had a dinner at Cherry sushi. The salmon sashimi was very good. They cut it very thick and it's very tender.
Too bad we have to say farewell to Paul here >_< Yesterday, my big boss is leaving to work in another place. We all went to this bar near the office and had his farewell party there. It's so sad because I've heard all good things about him and I haven't had a chance to work with him at all. I wish him luck and hopefully we can still keep in touch..Last but not least, RV and I finally went to Black Angus yesterday. We were planning to go since last month, but haven't had the chance. The foods were pretty good. We got the dinner for 2 combo, which gave us an appetizer to share, 2 entrees and a dessert to share. We ordered crab cakes for our appetizer and turned out we also got soup/salad along with our orders. I got the potato soup and RV got the salad with ranch. Everything tasted very good so far. We ordered New York Steak and Rib Eye for the entrees. Both steaks were okay in my opinion. It's not spectacular. I like Texas Roadhouse's better. We didn't finish the steaks because we still have desserts and we were almost full. We ordered this big chocolate cake with ice cream and fudge. And the portion is very big. We didn't finish the dessert as well, so we took everything for to go. I only get the picture of the cake, just because we were surprised with the size.

That's about it. See you in the next post.

Daily Routines

Monday, June 30, 2008

I've been working for a week now and I've discovered the activities that I always do everyday. First, I always have to wake up early, around 7-7.30. I took shower, get a chocolate for breakfast and off to work. Arriving at the office, I always get 2 bottled waters and make a glass of hot chocolate. Then, I usually have 1 meeting each day. In the afternoon, I buy my lunch from the cafetaria downstairs and then eat my lunch in my lil cube. Between after-lunch and going home, I sat in my cube, playing around with couple different cell phones, testing it, and *boomb* It's time to go home =D

I rarely sleep after midnight now. I just feel so tired after work. Sometimes I still hang out with my friends, playing games, cards, but most of the time I just hang out with RV at home, watching DVDs.

Works have been good so far.
